At RAS our goal is to make every rental experience as convenient as possible. Please take a look at our list of add-ons and extras. Once you have selected your rental car, you can add additional extras and services to your reservation and make your journey on the Icelandic roads even more pleasant.

Rates for extras are displayed in the booking engine during the search process for each rental car.

Super Collision Damage Waiver

By adding SCDW you´ll further reduce your excess from the standard CDW insurance that is already included.

- Excess for passenger cars will be reduced from ISK 195.000 down to ISK 49.500
- Excess for 4x4 SUV´s will be reduced from ISK 375.000 down to ISK 90.000

Gravel Potection

Covers you against damages to the windshield and headlights caused by stones or gravel getting thrown at your car by another vehicle.

Sand and Ash Damage Waiver

Covers you against damage caused by sand or ash storm. Such as ruined paint job, lights, glass and plastic.

GPS Navigation System

No need to be guessing where to go. Simply grab one of our GPS units. Although an increasing number of our cars come equipped with built-in navigation (Navi) the guidance and map quality are not comparable. Some of our cars have Navi and others do not. RÁS Car Rental does not refund GPS devices even if the rented vehicle has built-in Navi.

Extra driver

Relax and take turns driving. By adding extra driver you get more flexibility on your travel.

Toddler safety seat

Suitable for 9-18kg, 20lb-40lb (1-3 years)

Child booster seat

Suitable for 8-12 years old
